The Bandits went down by 10 points to the Bendigo Braves at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, with the loss leaving them sitting 15th on the NBL1 competition ladder.
US import Torren Jones was the trailblazer on the scoreboard for the home side, leaving with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
He was followed by Cirkook Riak, who has established himself as a solid performer for the Bandits over the last couple of rounds.
Riak racked up 17 points and eight rebounds, while sharp shooting point-guard Ken-Jah Bosley contributed 16 points.
It was also a quieter night on the scoreboard for star guard Deba George, who put up eight points during his time on the court.
The loss takes the Albury-Wodonga outfit to five wins and eight losses this season, with just seven games to be played before the start of playoffs.
Bendigo now sit two games clear of the Bandits after the win, while ladder leaders Ballarat have a six game bridge between them and the Border side.
The Bandits will now be looking to turn their double header voodoo around as they prepare for two games next weekend.
The Southern Sabres will be the first team on the Bandits radar, followed by what is sure to be another tough encounter against the Ballarat Miners.
