Mallyon joined the Beer stable as its No. 1 jockey in mid-April with yesterday's double their first since joining forces.
The pair started the day on a winning note after Zaberfelde made a winning debut when having his first career start in the $22,000 Maiden Plate, (1175m).
Zaberfelde started a $2.90 second favourite behind the Michelle Russell-trained Taliano.
The pair fought out a thrilling two-horse war over the final furlong with Zaberfelde prevailing by a head.
They gapped their nearest rival by over five lengths.

Adding further merit to the win, Zeberfelde is only a two-year-old and was taking on the older horses.
Beer and Mallyon completed the double after Pips 'n' Crowns caused a boil-over in the $22,000 Maiden Plate, (1175m).
Stablemate Smart Promise was the heavily supported $1.60-favourite.
Mallyon had the pick of the stable rides and his judgement proved spot-on after Pips 'n' Crowns scored at the bolter odds of $31.
Smart Promise was a flop, finishing sixth.
Pips 'n' Crowns had shown nothing in three starts for Beer after previously being trained by Pat Carey.
Beer said there were excuses for the failures.
"She was tying up horribly and we sort of hadn't picked-up on it," Beer said.
"Last start she hit the front and stopped rapidly, so we changed her diet and work around and Jordie (Mallyon) stuck with the right one.
"I have only had her for a few runs and she has been really hard work.
"She is a lovely, big Epaulette filly and has always shown plenty of promise.
"After her last gallop Jordie came in and threw the reins at me and said 'How's this not won a maiden?'
"So he stuck with the horse and a big thank you to Steve Watkins who is a great supporter of the stable.
"Steve and I sort of come up with a plan when it would have been easier to put Pips 'n' Crown in the too hard basket and gotten rid of her.
"But Steve has stuck solid and really deserves the victory and it's a credit to the team."
Canberra jockey Brendan Ward also chimed in with a winning double.
The former Border based jockey scored aboard Treasure Boss for trainer Mark Gee.
Ward then struck again in the following race, combining with trainer Russell Osborne aboard Beautiful Bee.
Albury Racing Club has two more meetings before the new racing season commences on August 1.
Albury will hold its next meeting on July 16 followed by the final meeting a fortnight later.
