The roles within incoming Indi MP Helen Haines' office have been confirmed as she prepares to be sworn into the federal Parliament on July 2.

Dr Haines will maintain electorate offices in Wodonga and Wangaratta and the federal finance department's staff allocation for Indi includes five positions, an office manager, diary manager and electorate officers.
Four of these staff were employed by Dr Haines' predecessor Cathy McGowan, who was granted extra staff by former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull after the 2016 election when the Coalition narrowly retained office and extra co-operation was needed with the cross-bench.

"Dr Haines has re-engaged them to ensure continuity of service for constituents and communities across Indi's nine local government areas," a spokesman said.
Former Beechworth-based journalist Jamie Kronborg has been appointed to provide Dr Haines with media and communications advice for three months.
He also assisted during the recent successful election.
Ministerial and parliamentary services also funds three senior staff positions, chief of staff, parliamentary adviser and media and communications adviser.
"Dr Haines will advertise in due course to fill these senior roles," the spokesman said.
"The 46th Parliament convenes in Canberra on July 2.
"Dr Haines will be sworn in as the new independent member for Indi the same day."
No date has been set for her maiden speech.
Mr Turnbull's replacement Scott Morrison will have a majority government when Parliament resumes.
Dr Haines and member for Warringah Zali Steggall are two newcomers to the federal cross-bench and the establishment of a federal ICAC is a major priority when Parliament is back.
