BO'C: There were probably a few people skeptical about Lavington's 2019 season, you must be happy with your position so far?
AD: Absolutely. I think it's nice to have that pressure off by not sitting in first place, because I think as a side, we often don't deal with pressure well at times. It's nice to sit back this season and not have the pressure, which is something different for the girls.
BO'C: Sitting in second spot at the moment, what are some of the key focuses for the rest of the year for Lavington?
AD: Our key focus I think is just to concentrate on ourselves and our game and to not worry about any of the other sides. We just really need to play our own game, because when we play our game, we know we can get ourselves over the line.
BO'C: Skye Hillier is Lavington's only player heading to Frankston for the Association Championships this weekend. Coming back into the side this season after a knee injury, it must be an amazing achievement for her?

AD: Yeah, we're so proud of Skye. She's come back super strong and I think that just goes to show her dedication to her rehab and to netball as a whole. She has done so well to be back out on the court this season.
BO'C: You've also come back to the club after a couple off seasons off, what was the decision behind that?
AD: I think it was the social network I missed, it's been lovely to get back into it. It's about all of the friendships you make, it's just a great club. We were still heavily involved with the Auskick, with Adam running it with Tim Sanson. It's been nice to get back. I think the kids probably threw me over the line by asking me why I don't play netball anymore and why they can't watch me. They were on my back and I really had no excuse not to. I don't have any injuries. The kids are old enough to come along now, so I thought, why not?
ALSO IN SPORT:
BO'C: Obviously having young children, do you see yourself going out to the country leagues to play or are you Lavington through and through?
AD: I think I'm Lavington through and through. As the years go on I'll find my place in the club and it doesn't matter what grade I play. I'm not looking to move to a different club just to play A-grade. For me, it's more about the friendships I've made and the club as a whole.
Lavington play Wodonga at home this weekend.
