Youngsters Matt Casey and Bailey Frauenfelder kicked five and four goals respectively in the 18.12 (120) to 8.4 (52) home win.
"They tried to close our forward line down, but we used it well going in and opportunities came to Casey and Frauenfelder," coach Damian Sexton said.
Midfielder Matt Gorman, with three majors, Ryan Bruce and defender Beau Seymour were terrific for the Pigeons, while Rohan Davies and Joe Hansen were the visitors' best.
Yarrawonga has jumped above Wodonga Raiders on percentage into sixth.
