Both of the sides went through undefeated after nine rounds and finished in the top spots heading into the finals.
The open side met the Goulburn Valley league in the grand final, going down by four goals after defeating them earlier in the day by 14.
Corowa-Rutherglen's Sophie Hanrahan was outstanding in defence for the day, while Magpie Hannah Grady's defensive pressure was also sensational.
North Albury's Elyse Boyer was strong on the court in her first year representing the league's open side, while Wangaratta's Amanda Umanski and Corowa-Rutherglen's Grace Senior combined well in goals.
Magpie Isabelle Byrne and Panther Skye Hillier were also consistent through the midcourt.
"We were highly delighted with the girls making the grand final, they played some great netball," O and M open coach Lou Byrne said.
"All of the players did what they had to do and combined fiercely.
"They probably ran out of legs in the last stages of the game and the GV always come out strong."
The open side had plenty of youth this year.
"I think that's what it's about, bringing the younger ones through and developing them," Byrne said.
The under-17's came up against Saint Albans Caroline Springs Netball Association in their grand final, going down 19-13.
In the under-13's competition, the Albury Netball Association made it through to the preliminary finals, while Netball Wodonga played off in the semi-finals.
