The Bandits sit one game outside the top eight, tied on six wins and nine losses with three other teams in the competition.
Bandits point guard Ken-Jah Bosley said this weekend's game against Frankston will be the first of the must-win games to come.
"It's extremely crucial," Bosley said.
"There's so many teams with six or seven wins.
"I don't think I've ever been a part of standings like this before where everyone has six or seven wins.
"Every game is crucial for everybody.
"We know we're not the only team with pressure on us, every team has pressure on them.
"It's a matter of just playing as hard as you possibly can.
"When you do that, you can live with the result."
After injuring his ankle earlier in the season, Bosley said he is now back to full strength.
The exciting sharp shooter added that after hitting a rough patch during the middle of the season, the Bandits are finally starting to come together nicely out on the court.

"I feel like everyone's gelling well," Bosley said.
"The camaraderie we were missing at the beginning of the season is starting to get there, it's just a matter of building.
"Talent wise, we're just as good as any team, that was never the problem.
"It was more playing as a team."
The Bandits split the round during last weekend's double header, coming home with a win against the Southern Sabres and a loss to Ballarat.
Power forward Torren Jones said securing the win against the Sabres helped to lift the morale of the team.
"The win against Southern was certainly a confidence boost," Jones said.
"Even with a loss to Ballarat, I still feel like we played hard and bought the energy that we've been searching for.
"I think we're just going to build on that with Frankston coming up on Saturday."
Following this week's game the Bandits will only have four clashes left for the season before playoffs commence.
They will meet Eltham Wildcats, Bendigo Braves, Dandenong Rangers and the Knox Raiders.
The Bandits will host Frankston on Saturday night at 8pm at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre.
