The Bandits dug deep after a disruptive start to the game against Frankston to post their third consecutive win.
However, the victory was somewhat soured by a foot injury to Molly Rice in the first half.
Rice didn't return to the court, with players and spectators shifted to another court to play out the second half of the game, due to rain seeping onto the surface.
The game went ahead with some delays.
Bandits' coach Lauren Jackson said the loss of Rice would be a blow heading into the final rounds of the NBL1 competition season.
"We're not sure if we're going to have her for the rest of the season, which is a huge blow," Jackson said.
"The girls really handled adversity well and got through it all"
The 98-76 point win continues a run of strong performances by the Bandits, who now have a two game buffer to remain in the top eight of the competition.
Jessie Edwards was on fire on the scoreboard for the Bandits against the Blues with 32 points and eight rebounds, while youngster Caitlin Reid also stepped up for the home side in the absence of Rice.
Starting players Cherise Daniel, Nat Hurst and Emma Mahady were also strong on the scoreboard.
"They're getting better each game and I'm just really impressed with how the girls are coming together," Jackson said.
"They know that defence is going to win them games and they're playing really well defensively.
"Our bench is really starting to step up for us now, which is really good and our starters keep persisting."
The victory takes the Bandits to nine this season, with the last three rounds before playoffs set to be crucial for the home side.
Their next game will be against the Eltham Wildcats, who sit just below the Bandits at tenth spot in the standings.
