Emergency services were called to the southbound lanes of the Hume Highway, between the Fallon Street and Racecourse Road overpasses, about 4.30am on Monday.
A truck collided with a parked car, causing a collision between the second car and motorbike.
Albury and Border Rescue Squad captain Paul Marshall said it was lucky there weren't more injuries, with extensive damage to the cars and bike.

He said it was a relief no-one was inside the parked car.
"It was very lucky all round," Mr Marshall said.
"It's lucky that more people weren't involved after the crash.
"You had a freeway that was dark at that time of the morning, luckily everyone did the right thing and slowed for emergency services."
The crash caused the highway to be shut as it took about an hour-and-a-half to clear the wrecked vehicles from the road.
It had been hard to remove one of the cars due to the extent of the damage it sustained.
The truck was able to be driven from the scene.
Mr Marshall said the incident showed the importance of the 40km/h rule around flashing lights.
"We just asked that people do take care when they see the red and blue lights," he said.
"The freeway was completely blocked and if someone came through it could have injured one of our members, or someone from the police, fire brigade or paramedics."
