Melbourne Victory W-League head coach Jeff Hopkins will visit Murray United to take two training sessions at La Trobe sporting complex in Wodonga on Tuesday.
The sessions will form part of Victory's ongoing commitment to the region through it's pre-academy program, which runs all day on Monday and Tuesday.
Hopkins was named W-League Coach of the Year in May after taking Victory to its first league premiership, with seven wins, three draws and two losses.
Victory fell short of the double, falling 4-2 to Perth Glory in extra time of the semi-final.
Murray United technical director Adam Carty is thrilled to secure the services of such a high-calibre coach to pass on his knowledge to some of the region's brightest talent.

"As coaches go, having the 2019 W-League Coach of the Year visiting us and investing the time to take two training sessions is huge for the region and in particular the girl's game," Carty said.
"It's not uncommon to see coaches who have finished their tenor with a high profile club visit the area and offer training sessions, which is great.
"However, to get a coach like Jeff who coaches at one of the country's biggest clubs to offer his time for free, shows how the gap between NPL and A-League is narrowing and the relationship is building.
"Invitations for girls to join the session will be sent out this week and we are hopeful that the girls invited see this as the opportunity it is.
"You only need to have a quick look at Jeff's CV to see what a massive part in the girl's game in this country Jeff has and continues to have."
Hopkins, a former Welsh international, managed 16 appearances for his country between 1983 and 1990.
He also played professionally in England, most notably with Fulham and Reading, where he managed a combined 350 appearances.
Hopkins transitioned into coaching when he took the reins of Brisbane Roar's women's outfit from 2008 through to 2012.
He also had two seasons as an assistant manager for the Roar's men's side and a campaign as mentor of Brisbane Roar Youth.
Hopkins has coached Victory's women since 2016.
