Bandits' small forward Cirkook Riak believes finals are still reachable for the home side.
While the playoffs aren't impossible at this stage, the next four games will be critical for the Bandits if they want to climb from their current position of 16th to reach the top eight in time.
"I'm a believer, so I'm not going to quit," Riak said.
"The boys have been working hard and we've been in the games.
"But then we've let them slip from our grip.
"Hopefully we can muster some defence over these next four games and get over the hump.

"I still believe we can get the four wins."
The first of the four games will be Eltham this weekend, who sit just one spot ahead of the Bandits in the standings.
Both sides have had six wins and ten losses this season.
"As far as points, I think they'll be up there trying to get points with us," Riak said.
The Bandits will host Eltham at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre on Saturday night at 8pm.
