A 42-year-old Wangaratta man allegedly found with $15,000 worth of heroin and cannabis has been charged with multiple offences including trafficking.

The man was arrested by police on Wednesday about 6pm, at Wangaratta train station after exiting a VLine coach from Melbourne.
Police located 42.5 grams (1.5oz) of heroin, and 42.5 grams (1.5oz) of cannabis - with a street value of more than $15,000.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The man was also found with $1480 cash in his wallet, which police allege were the proceeds of crime.
Police have charged him with trafficking, possessing and using heroin.
He has also been charged with possessing and using cannabis, as well as handling the proceeds of crime.
He will appear in Wangaratta Magistrate's Court on August 19.
