More than 700 people are expected to fill the Albury Entertainment Centre tomorrow to explore the region's offerings for everything wedding-related.
Event manager Bradley Hayden said venue providers were coming from a range of areas including Mitta, Porepunkah, and Milawa.
"We're always looking for the latest in wedding trends," he said.
"A lot of people seem to be into their destination weddings, where everyone goes to a location and stays.
"We have a couple new venues coming on, as well as the traditional ones around Albury.
"We have just over 50 exhibitors, so it's a good opportunity for people to choose their venues, celebrants, flowers, photographers and more."
Dresses by Jack and Jill Bridal and Maxcelle Hall, and suits by Nickel Menswear, will be modelled in fashion parades at 11am and 1.30pm.
Jack and Jill will be showcasing 10 styles and owner Sandy Stewart said the styles for 2019 were "romantic", with sleek silhouettes being popular.
"We're also seeing a lot of clean, cut lines, inspired by the royal wedding," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS
Mr Hayden said the event had run for more than 20 years and had grown to become one of the most comprehensive fairs in the region.
"With everything under the one roof, and the fantastic fashion parades, there's ideas and inspiration on all fronts," he said.
"All couples who come to the fair have a chance to win a five-night honeymoon at The Breakers on the Gold Coast and flights."
The Border Mail's Border Weddings will be launched on Sunday, with all attendees receiving a copy, and thereafter will be available at newsagents.
The 30-page magazine includes local weddings and how they came together, a planning checklist and other tips including how to create "an eco-friendly wedding".
