Maree Terrill received the Laurel Wreath to the Medal of Long Service at the branch's annual general meeting last week in recognition of her 50-year contribution.
Mrs Terrill, 87, the group's event manager, continues to bake for fundraising street stalls every three months and helped cater for the Blood Bank when it used to visit Rutherglen.
During this period, she also donated blood herself more than 100 times.

Mrs Terrill said she had made many friends through her community involvement.
"They've all been very caring and we've had some lovely times together through the years," she said.
"There's different things that you're in and you still try and be in and keep up with friends and do a few things for someone else.
"While we can do things and keep those sort of things going, it's rather a good idea."
