A NSW Rural Fire Service spokesman said the Pell Street house and a fence received slight heat damage from the blaze, which destroyed the empty motor home.
"At this stage, the fire's not being treated as suspicious," he said.
"Due to the damage done, a cause of the fire could not be determined."
Three Howlong brigade trucks and about 12 firefighters attended the incident, along with NSW police, after receiving the call at 3.50am, but the motor home was already well alight.
The fire was brought under control within 45 minutes and crews stayed on scene for about an hour.
