The Roos host the struggling Border Walwa on Saturday, before a crunch clash against third-placed Federal the week after - which is set to decide who finishes third on the ladder, with tough final round games for both.
Federal is currently two points clear of Tumbarumba, but takes on Bullioh this weekend, meaning it will more than likely come down to next round's meeting.
Tumbarumba coach Mitch Fennessy is set to give a few sore bodies, including himself, a rest this weekend in order to have his strongest possible side available against Federal.
Cam Johnston returns to the fold, with Aidan Adams set to miss.
"The next two weeks are really big, especially the game against Federal, which will will see us finish top-three and get that home final," Fennessy said.
"It's good for the club too if you can jag another game at home.
"It's a pretty clear-cut top-two, but we haven't given ourselves a chance against the top sides.
"We haven't had a full strength side against them (Cudgewa and Bullioh), which is frustrating, but that's just how it has been.
"We'll look to win our next two games, throw everything we've got at Bullioh (in the last round) and then attack the finals.
"We'll have everyone available for finals and we'll get Mick Foster back from the Gold Coast, so that will be good."
But unfortunately for the Roos, star mid-season recruit Nick Kennedy won't be one of those inclusions - managing just one game for the club.
"He came into the season with a bit of a shoulder query and copped a really good knock on it," Fennessy said.
"He's opted for surgery, which is a bit of a shame.
"Obviously only being 23, he's looking long-term to get it right for work and his future. I don't blame him for that."

Tumbarumba has been 2019's big improver, going from one victory in the past two years to having a chance to finish the season with eight wins.
"We've got 12 or 13 local boys running around this year, so the club itself is in a really good spot," Fennessy said.
"I don't know what's going to happen with the league, you probably can't start recruiting for next year not knowing what you're going to do.
"The top-end talent in the comp is really good, it's obviously just the numbers that are the issue.
"I've played a fair bit of footy in the RFL (Riverina) and Farrer and Cudgewa and Bullioh would be competitive up here.
"It's just the numbers of the bottom sides that's making them struggle a bit."
Front-runners Cudgewa travel to take on Corryong, while Federal will remain third if it upsets Bullioh away from home.
Bullioh and Cudgewa lead the way in reserves, while Bullioh and Tumbarumba are the top-two in the under 14s competition.
