The in-form Panthers meet Thurgoona at Rutherglen's Barkly Park on Sunday.
Lavington and Thurgoona finished the regular season with eight wins apiece and split their two meetings.
But after a big win against Alpine Lions in the elimination final, the Panthers will take plenty of momentum into the clash.

"I think the first time they were a bit under strength, but the second time they really got a hold of us," Lavington coach Matt Hay said.
"With the youth girls getting through to the grand final, there's a pretty good feel around the club and our girls are up and about, so it would be massive to win."
Start time is 12.30pm.
Alpine Lions and Thurgoona meet in the youth girls preliminary final for the chance to take on Lavington.
