Goal shooter Stephanie Ackland was outstanding for Mitta, while fellow shooter Hannah Gaylor held an impressive one hundred percent shooting accuracy for the last two quarters of the game.
Mitta's coach Gabrielle Gray said the jump to fourth is a nice reward for effort for her side.
"It's lovely, all of our hard work is paying off," Gray said.
"Obviously everyone's intention is to finish off as high as possible and we're really committed to finishing out the season as strongly as we can.
"The vibe at training is really positive and we're working really hard."
Taylor Morey and Danielle Tymenson were strong in defence for the Saints, who now sit one game out of the top five.
Mitta will now face Kiewa Sandy-Creek.
