Chesser, who has been a regular competitor at the Australian Junior Track and Field Championships, was named on a half-back flank after using his run and carry to full advantage in Victoria Country's three matches.
He was particularly damaging against Victoria Metro.
"I played on a wing and down back," Chesser, 16, said.
"It was pleasing to play well in a good standard competition.
"I guess I was rewarded for that."
Shepparton's Josh Rachele was also named in the All-Australian side after being a stand-out in attack.
Chesser has played one match for Lavington this season when free of school and football commitments with Melbourne Grammar.
