The 200cm giant will undoubtedly be on the recruiting radar of several O&M clubs after his dominant victory in the Barton medal on Monday night.
But Spencer said running his own business in the dairy industry would prevent him from playing at the higher level.
"I wouldn't mind having a crack at O&M, except for my work commitments," Spencer said.
"I run my own company and time is so valuable to me.
"I miss a lot of training as it is.
"To have a serious crack at O&M you need to commit to the training and my business is my main priority."

Spencer said his immediate attention was on helping the Hoppers progress as deep into September as possible.
"If we can keep relatively injury free we can beat anyone on our day," he said.
