"James has already proven himself in Melbourne, fighting on some of the biggest shows in the country," trainer Mitch Carter said.
"A win for Michael over James will open up a lot of doors as Michael starts preparing to turn professional at the end of the year.
"Michael is already a state champion and being a national champion will get him the coverage and notice he needs as he moves towards being a full-time pro fighter."
Doors open at 6.15pm, with the first fight at 7pm.
Tickets are available from the venue. For table bookings and information, contact Carter on 0421 235 244.
