The good news keeps coming for the region's soccer juniors with Murray United informed seven of its players have been selected for Victorian state teams for next month's boys National Youth Championship.

A further three were picked as shadow players.
Levi Lyster has been included in the under-13s squad, while Jay Barker, Linus Bourke, Jai Da Zotto, Obiora Eze, Leeam Hughes, Oscar O'Keefe, Harrison Watson and Stavros Andronicos are in the Victorian under-14s.
Kobe'Dee Burgess rounded out the 10 with a shadow selection for the under-14 NSW Country team.

"That's an outstanding effort and a credit to the hard work and commitment of all players involved," Murray United technical director Adam Carty said.
It's been a big couple of weeks for Barker, who, on top of his Victorian selection, has been invited to trial with A-League powerhouse Melbourne Victory ahead of the 2020 season.
The National Youth Championships are at Coffs Harbour from September 30 to October 4.
