The minor premiers continued their dream run after a tight four goal win against Rutherglen in a semi-final clash at Sandy Creek on Saturday.
ALSO IN SPORT:
Rutherglen led by one goal heading into the second term but the Bulldogs were able to nudge in front and hold onto a narrow lead for the remaining quarters, as both sides fought hard for a spot on the big stage.
Thurgoona coach Kristie McInnes said she was proud of her girls for their determination.
"I thought they fought hard for four quarters and they had a lot of fight in them," McInnes said.
"I think the hard work on the track has really paid off, so a grand final spot is lovely.
"Our defence stood up really tall and took a lot of rebounds, but in saying that, our shooters were really accurate as well.
"I couldn't fault any of our players today."
