The numbering of houses along Badcoe Avenue in White Box Rise and storm water draining from the Logic industrial hub are the first two topics to be nominated for the event to be held at The Cube from 6pm on Monday.
However, council chief executive Mark Dixon said there would be plenty of opportunities for residents to raise other concerns with the forum scheduled to run until 7.30pm.
The Badcoe Avenue concern centres on houses that face on to that street, on corner blocks, having numbers that relate to the side street rather than Badcoe Avenue.
For example the home at No.22 Badcoe Avenue faces the same way as what should be No.24, but the latter is No.45 because its side fence abuts Peeler Street.
Mr Dixon said he hoped for more topics to be raised, but he understood being the first forum there would be some sounding out.
The event will be in a meeting room and chaired by Mr Dixon with councillors and senior staff present.
However, he said it would not be as rigid and formal as a monthly council meeting.
"We want to generate a relaxed style of exchange," Mr Dixon said.
He said if answers could not occur on the night, a seven-day reply was expected.
