16 goals was the margin in what eventuated as the Brookers final game of the season.
It appears to be third time lucky for the Spiders who bowed out of finals in the first round for the past two seasons.
Howlong shooter Tahnee Thorpe shot with accuracy and was well supported by Brooke Cannon and Annabelle McGee.
Howlong coach Emma Bridle said her side has been through the hard yards to reach this point.
"We've been knocked out of finals in the first round for the last two years, so we were all pretty excited to get that first finals win in a while," Bridle said.
"We obviously haven't had an ideal past month, so it was really good to get back the consistency we had at the start of the season.
"I felt like we were back to where we were at the start of the season."
In the second elimination final in Walbundrie on Sunday just six goals separated Brock-Burrum and Rand Walbundrie-Walla, with the Saints cutting the Giants finals stay short.
Saints' wing defence Jessica Noorderweir was named best on court as her side climbed back from being down by four at three quarter time.
Brock-Burrum coach Tori Ellis said it was a good win for her side.
"We made a few changes at three quarter time and finished the game really strongly," Ellis said.
"I thought all of the girls played really well."
Howlong and Brock-Burrum play next weekend after just meeting in the last round.
