Prior, sent a huge scare through the Lions' camp last weekend when he limped off during the first quarter.
He returned to the field during the second quarter but had minimal impact before spending most of the second half on the bench.
"It happened in the first five minutes of the match and the second contest I was involved in," Prior said.
"I took off on a lead and I'm still not exactly sure what I have done.
"I can't get into see the specialist until late on Tuesday.
"I didn't roll my ankle, I just felt sore on the back of my heel and Achilles.
"I've been icing it and it doesn't feel too bad."

League officials will be also hoping Prior can recover in time
In a promoter's dream, the Culcairn and Holbrook clash earlier in the season attracted one of the biggest crowds seen at the Culcairn Sportsground in recent memory.
Prior is one of the biggest drawcards in the league and if he plays will ensure a bumper crowd.
The league's leading goalkicker is stranded on 99 goals after being kept goalless on the weekend.
"I had a chance to kick one from about 15m out and looking back I should have kicked it on my left," he said.
"I had about two rolls of tape on my right ankle and I could hardly move my foot.
"It would have been good to get it out of the way, but it doesn't worry me too much."
Prior, for some reason, is a player opposition supporters love to hate.
The high-profile recruit copped plenty of heckling in his first Hume league finals appearance.
"It was funny, most of the Crows supporters were in the forward pocket at the pavilion end and were getting into me," he said.
"I could hear the Culcairn supporters sticking up for me.
"Then up the other end I was copping it from a bunch of women.
"I was disappointed because with my injury I couldn't influence the match as much as I had planned."
Prior paid tribute to his teammates who secured an against the odds 10-point win over the Crows.
"The Crows should have beat us," he said.
"We had a few sore bodies and it was a gutsy performance to still get the win."
