And since Sunday Legacy volunteers have been out and about collecting money to ensure their work continues.
Legacy week runs from September 1 to 8 and Albury volunteers are asking their communities to donate.

"Albury Legacy has had representatives out in Beechworth, Jindera, Henty, Kiewa, Tallangatta, Holbrook, Howlong, Lavington, Thurgoona and the wider Albury - Wodonga region," Albury Legacy president David Turner said.
