Colette Suter's second half strike was all that separated the two sides in a thrilling contest.
The Devils won the ball back and countered through the midfield, with Christina Mancuso playing Suter in behind the defence who buried the one-on-one opportunity in the top corner.

Wanngaratta coach Adam Burchell was thrilled with the way his side performed under finals pressure.
"It was a very tough game in tough conditions, but in the second half it opened up a little bit," he said.
"It was a bit scrappy at times, but you could tell we were playing the better football as well.
"We created more clear-cut chances, I think we only had three all game, but we put one away and it ended up being the decisive goal."
Burchell said it was hard to pick a standout player.
"The 11 on the pitch and the four or five that came on throughout the game were outstanding," he said.
"I give credit to the back four because we've again kept a clean sheet.
"(Caity) Rizzo and Bella (Gigliotti) in the middle worked extremely hard and even Colette working up and down, she never stopped running.
"You've got to give credit to Bianca (Mulqueen) as well because she looked so dangerous every time she got the ball."
