Falls Creek hosted a group of English as an Additional Language (EAL) students from Wodonga Senior Secondary College last week with some experiencing snow for the first time.
The school has been bringing the class of students to the ski fields for several years to experience the alpine region and learn how to ski.
Group organiser Teju Chouhan said the students were "delighted" to be at Falls Creek again.
"The 34 students who attended the snow day are of refugee and migrant backgrounds from Bhutan, Congo, China, France, Thailand, Togo, Vietnam and Zimbabwe," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Most of the students had never been to snow, this was their first trip to a snow fields and had never skied before.
"We are grateful to the Falls Creek community for their interest in these students and for giving these students the opportunity to participate, build their confidence and make them feel connected to the community."
