Fire burns through wool, trailers, on Hume
A large truck fire caused delays on the Hume Freeway as about 50 firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.

The fire broke out in two trailers carrying wool at Springhurst about 8.15pm on Sunday.
The driver disconnected the trailers from the prime mover to prevent it catching alight.
IN OTHER NEWS:
CFA duty officer Rod Railton said the wool had to be removed from the truck before being extinguished.
The last of the dozen fire trucks cleared the scene about 4am.
