A mechanical fault has been blamed for a fire than started in a conveyor belt at Rivalea Australia in Corowa on Monday afternoon.

Fire and Rescue NSW Inspector Stewart Alexander said although the fire broke out in a confined space at the grain storage facility, there were no injuries.
"That was quickly brought under control and quickly extinguished," he said.
The fire caused minor damage to the conveyor belt.
