It comes after the back-to-back Tallangatta and District Netball Association coach of the year steered the Hawks to a premiership against Thurgoona on the weekend.
Evans has held the coaching role for two seasons now and in that time has helped the Hawks to two consecutive grand final appearances and one flag.

The premiership coach said she has loved her time in charge of the A-grade side.
"I love being a part of Kiewa Sandy-Creek netball club, so I have no plans of going anywhere," Evans said.
"They're a terrific bunch of girls and the support we have around the club is sensational.
"It's as good for me as it is for the girls.
"It provides a good work life balance for me."
Kiewa Sandy-Creek defeated the Bulldogs by four goals at Sandy Creek in the decider, after going down to Tallangatta in the 2018 grand final.
