Raine claimed the league's top prize for the fourth straight season at Monday night's Morris Medal count.
Wangaratta and Lavington met in a controversial second semi, with two suspensions from the game.
"We'll just let whatever unfolds in front of us happen and if we need to impose ourselves, we will, but if the guys play football ... hopefully we'll go unnoticed," Raine said.
He will be joined by Andrew Bowden and teenager Hayden Pearson.
"I'm calmer (after last year) and will just umpire the way I have," Pearson said.
