Kevin Michael Kennedy's matter was briefly mentioned in Albury Local Court on Tuesday.
The accused though chose not to appear via a video link to jail, where he is being held bail refused.
Magistrate Rodney Brender dealt with two separate sets of charges leveled against Kennedy.
Mr Brender decided that in the interests of ensuring the matters moved efficiently towards finalisation, he would treat each lot of charges separately.
The court was told that one set of charges would soon be ready for charge certification, which resulted in Mr Brender adjourning these matters to November 11 with that aim.

But police said the other long list of charges, the majority of which involved aggravated break and enters, would not be ready for charge certification by that date.
That was because the brief of evidence was still being prepared.
Mr Brender heard that while the matters individually were not complex, the sheer number of offences - 41 separate property crimes were involved - meant an unknown length of time was still required to finalise the brief.
The prosecution said there were "large volumes" of CCTV footage from "numerous different locations".
With that, Mr Brender extended brief service orders to October 15 and also flagged the possibility that a further adjournment might be necessary, depending on progress by the prosecution.
He will be released on parole in September, 2021.
