The Donna Scott trained galloper was never a factor in the feature sprint when initially being trapped three and four deep after drawing wide.
Regular jockey Blaike McDougall went to make a run on Bennelong Dancer 600m from home but it soon became evident the mare was not travelling well.

McDougall sat up on Bennelong Dancer in the home straight to finish 10.8-lengths behind eventual winner Bravo Tango.
Scott said her stable star would held to the spelling paddock after only having two starts this preparation.
"I can't really find an excuse for her failure," Scott said.
"I'm lost for words a bit because she has been working well and she also trialled well at Wagga.
"But she has just been disappointing at the races and unfortunately hasn't come up this preparation.
"Mares can sometimes be like that.
"The vet has been right over her and can't find a thing.
"So we will tip her out and give her another spell."
The silver lining could be Bennelong Dancer is still eligible for next year's Country Championships which will be staged at Albury for a second successive year.
The Country Championships is restricted to galloper's who are Class 5 and below and have had no more than 20 race starts.
Bennelong Dancer is a Class 4 who has had 19 starts.
"She is still eligible for the Country Championships, so we may as well have another crack," she said.
"So the plan is to give her six weeks in the paddock and then aim for the Championships again."
Stablemate Love Generation could also be set for the Country Championships.
Love Generation was an impressive winner on debut at Corowa in June and has since been off the scene.
