The $3.8 million centre which had been described as a "one stop shop" for mental health care, will treat depression, eating disorders, Alzheimer's and schizophrenia, among other conditions.
The Brain and Mind Centre occupies the first floor of the Mercy Hospital.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Initial designs of the centre included a golden canopy of timber ribbons designed to reflect "a swirling mass of chaotic thought streams" being made rational upon entering the building.
Former member for Albury Greg Aplin long pushed for the centre to be developed in Albury and on his retirement. During her January visit to Albury, Ms Berejiklian said the upgrade "never would have happened without the advocacy of Greg".
Ms Berejiklian will be joined by Member for Albury Justin Clancy, Minister for Mental Health Bronwyn Taylor and Friends of Nolan House.
