The dynamic duo were instrumental in Lavington winning its first flag since 2005 after stunning Wangaratta in the decider.
But Curtis said the pair were destined to play at a higher level next year after both enjoyed outstanding seasons with the Panthers.
They would be available to the Panthers when free of VFL commitments.
"Aidan has re-signed and Shaun is still weighing up his future," Curtis said.
"But we won't be holding anyone back who wants to play at a higher level.
"We are all hoping there is bigger and better things for both Shaun and Aidan.
"I'm hoping Shaun gets rewarded for what he has been able to achieve in the O&M.
"Shaun is really driven to succeed at the highest level possible.
"He has got a clear goal in mind.
"I think everyone from just not Lavington but the league in general would love to see Shaun succeed at a higher level."

Mannagh, 22, played 16 matches and booted 54 goals after often been overlooked by VFL outfit Richmond who went on to win the flag this season.
The speedy midfielder is arguably the No. 1 player in the O&M and will be on the recruiting radar of rival VFL clubs after claiming the Did Simpson medal in the decider.
Johnson arrived at Lavington from Brock-Burrum and proved to be a revelation in his debut season.
The 19-year-old finished second in the Doug Strang medal and renowned for his fierce attack on the ball.
