Standout footballers from the area in the under-13s, 14s and 15s age groups featured in GWS Giants Academy teams.
The Giants South under-15s side, featuring Foster Gardiner (North Albury), Nathan Wardius (Rand-Walb-Walla), Noah Graham, Sam Harrington (Albury), Charlie Lappin (St Pats), Hunter Galvin (Holbrook/Lavington) and Hunter Surrey (Yarrawonga) was the standout of that age group.
A strong second half saw them run out 60-30 winners against Swans North on Thursday, following on from their 60-22 triumph against Swans South on Tuesday.

Galvin has contested the trials the past three years and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
"I like how all the boys can come together, enjoy the week and play a bit of footy against other good sides," he said.
The Giants Grey under-14s side also had a promising week with Phoenix Gothard, Rory Parnell (St Pats), Ethan Semple, Jesse Hart, Lochie Semmler, Will Leirsch, Oscar Lyons (Lavington), Jackson Carey (North Albury), Caleb Clemson (Albury), Carl Ziebarth (Brock-Burrum) and Joseph Clancy (Osborne) strutting their stuff.
Strong displays against Team Hewitt (65-15) and Team Allir (34-19) started the week in style and it continued against Giants Orange (46-3), Team Dawson (51-0), before taking down Giants White.
The under-13s Giants Grey saw the likes of Dominic Korzeniowski (Brock-Burrum), Griffin Surrey (Yarrawonga), Eli Kannenberg (Lavington), Marty Norman (North Albury), Tom Forrest (Corowa-Rutherglen), Jon Ryan (Osborne) and Josh Murphy (Howlong) involved.
Giants Grey scored wins against Team Blakey (38-2) and Team Papley (39-35) on day one, but dropped their final three matches against Giants Orange (22-28), Team Florent (2-40) and Giants White.
Giants Academy head coach Jason Saddington has been pleased with the progress of the Albury-based boys.
"Certainly with the 15s, players like Jedd Longmire from Corowa, Hunter Surrey, Hunter Galvin and Sammy Harrington more around Albury, there's some really good talent in the region," Saddington said.
"Across all age groups we've seen some really good Albury-based boys and Murray region boys.
"It's been a great week of football across both academies, Swans and Giants, it looks like there's some future AFL boys running around."
