Joseph Chandrasegaran has returned to Xavier High School this week with a school holiday story to top all of his peers.

The 16-year-old was one of 26 year 10 and 11 students from across NSW to take part in Sydney Theatre Company's annual Work Experience Week.
He was chosen from hundreds of applicants and was also one of six to receive a regional scholarship.
"For the application, you had to come up with something creative and I decided that to answer the questions, I'd do it in the form of a rap song and send that in," Joseph said.
"I was absolutely speechless to learn I was selected."
The Jindera teen arrived in Syndey on October 7 and attended a performance at the Opera House.
"We went to the Roslyn Packer Theatre, had a script-writing workshop and saw The Real Thing - it was remarkable," Joseph said.
"My passion for drama has been with me since I was in year 4, and I love watching films.
"I hope to be an actor in Hollywood; I am for the top.
"I feel like it's higher stakes in theatre - you have to try and make less errors and also project yourself."
Joseph, who is taking part in Xavier's upcoming 2020 Vision production, learned about programming, direction, set and costume design, and marketing during the week-long immersion.

It culminated in a group presentation where students pitched their concept ideas for a production of The Real Thing.
"There are a lots of jobs involved, as with film," he said.
"Sometimes as the audience, we don't give a lot of credit to the people who work behind the scenes, make sets, and do lighting and special effects.
"There's lots of activities people can do in theatre and film.
"I've met many amazing people and the atmosphere has been wonderful.
"The STC has been very accommodating."
