Indigo Valley's Tabitha Cross finished runner-up in the National Beef Cattle Young Judges Championship held in Perth earlier this month.
Qualifying through wins at the Henty and Sydney shows, Tabitha, 17, had to judge three classes of animals, four in each class, and present a speech about a class of her choice.
"What you like about the animals, how you place them, your reasoning and how they fit into the industry," she said.
