Chasing Wodonga's moderate total of 103, the unbeaten Eagles needed only 24 runs from the final four overs with seven wickets left.
However, South Australia Country all-rounder Tom Johnson changed the match.
"Tom Johnson and Cam Suidgeest, two of our co-coaches, closed out the game really well," team-mate and club president Leo McGhee said.
"Dot balls were an absolute premium and they got a few of those and they did a massive job hitting the chalk."
With gun batsmen Drew Cameron and David Farrell at the crease, Johnson conceded only four runs in the 17th over and Suidgeest five in the next, meaning the home team needed just 14 from the final two overs.
Johnson was miserly with another four in the penultimate over, claiming Cameron for 35, with Suidgeest conceding seven runs and the team snaring two wickets in the final over as the Eagles finished at 6-101.
NSW Country quick Suidgeest finished with 1-17 from four overs, while Johnson claimed 1-8 from his two.
"They were probably in the box seat when those two were going, so it was one where the foot was in the trap, we were lucky to get it out," McGhee said.

Earlier, Mitch Dinneen (37 runs) and Robbie Jackson (23) provided Wodonga's momentum, although Belvoir stole it back by claiming 8-35 to wrap up the innings.
The win means there's only two undefeated teams with just one round left.
Wodonga and North Albury are on the verge of meeting in the grand final, although Belvoir is still in the hunt when the final round is held on Tuesday, December 10.
A date for the T20 grand final is yet to be decided.
