Wodonga athlete Kevin Muller will take on some of the world's best ultramarathon runners at the 24 Hour World Championships in France this week.

It will be the third time Muller has competed on the world stage.
Muller arrived at Albi in the south of France on Sunday night, with the event to be run across Saturday and Sunday.

He's expected to cover around 240 kilometres.
Muller earned his place in the 14-member Australian team at the event by winning the Clint Eastwood Backyard Ultra in August.
Muller completed 41 laps of a 6.7-kilometre course to clinch victory in the last man standing format.
Meanwhile, race two of Wodonga Athletic Club's 5km Handicap series will be staged at Ludlow's Reserve at 6.30pm on Thursday.
Runners must submit a 5km time to be eligible to compete.
