The men's side has welcomed 19-year-old young gun Bryce Svensson into the team this year, with the new recruit making a splash in the Sharks' first round win against Pool Pirates.
Svensson scored seven goals in his debut, and coach Shannon Gould said the teenager from Canberra has plenty of experience to lean back on.
"He's a 19-year-old kid that wanted to play a bit more water polo," Gould said.
"He's also played a bit of high school water polo in America and is back here playing with Sharks, which is great."

The club has also welcomed back Graham Martin-Dye this season, who has returned to the club after playing with them five years ago.
"He's come back to play, which is a big inclusion," Gould said.
The two arrivals coincide with the loss of former Shark Taylor Miller, who moved to America in May to join the Alumni Water Polo Club.
The Sharks will be looking to continue their winning form from round one when they come face-to-face with Northside Stingrays on Sunday.
"It was a bit scrappy but we snuck away with it, which was brilliant," Gould said.
"They (Northside) are going to be a tough team this year.
"They were unlucky last year not to make the finals series.
"It's going to be a tough one."
The other A-grade men's game will see Pool Pirates take on Albury.
In the A-grade women's competition, Sharks take on Albury and the mixed side meet Pool Pirates at Waves.
