"Yuraga" on Corona Road had been owned by Malcolm and Ann Ferguson for 45 years before being sold at the auction conducted by Albury agents, Paull & Scollard Landmark.
"It sold above expectations," agent Roger Bramley said.
A feature of the property is a late 1880s homestead which was extended in 1982.
Meanwhile, a neighbouring property owner has snapped up a 177.4 hectare property north of Holbrook for $1.65 million at auction.
The Little Billabong farm "Old Murrumbung" sold with accompanying eight-stand shearing shed, sheep and cattle yards and machinery shed was auctioned by Landmark Harcourts' Holbrook.
The same agents conducted an auction on behalf of Property NSW for three vacant blocks in Holbrook on Friday.
The biggest price was returned under the hammer for a 1454 square metre block in Prospect Street.
It sold for $55,000 and another 845 square metre block in Bath Street was passed in for $33,500, but sold later at an undisclosed price.
A block in Spring Street was passed in for $40,000 and remains unsold.
Another block in Peel Street sold $52,000 under the hammer.
Meanwhile, Landmark Harcourts is entering the final stage of the expressions of interest for the sale of "Fairfield" located east of Rutherglen.
