Cricketing legend Sir Donald Bradman's appearance at Holbrook will be among the history covered during the club's 150th anniversary celebrations at Holbrook RS Club on Saturday night.

Bradman made 58 playing for a touring NSW side in 1933 before being dismissed in controversial circumstances.
He was bowled by local solicitor and club secretary Alec Drew when the ball hit the matting in the middle of the wicket.

Bradman declined an invitation to return to the crease.
Club historian James Ross will be the keynote speaker with more than 120 people expected to attend from 7pm.
Ross will talk about a range of topics including Holbrook's golden run in the 1920s when it won eight premierships in a row.
The Brookers have gone on to win 30 A grade premierships since forming and is one of the oldest club's in Australia.
Tickets are $25 and will be available on the night.
