The game came down to the wire with the Vikings claiming the Cup by six points, marking their first take down in three years in tough weather conditions.
Nase Holani was crowned the Tynan Eyre medal winner while Evan Gurney was named man of the match, with both travelling from Melbourne to take part in the clash.
The day also succeeded in it's goal of raising money for the Blue Ribbon foundation, with the players receiving a touching message from Frank Eyre, father of one of the policemen killed in the Walsh Street police shootings, before the game.
