Wodonga Bears snared a hard fought victory over SPD Green with Bailey Kiraly best on court with support from Zach Tanburini and Jordan Tanburini.
Other matches had Wodonga Lions victorious over Wodonga Crows, Thurgoona Lions from Albury/Scots Blue, SPD Yellow defeated Albury/Scots Lions and SPD Purple were too good for SPD Gold.
The junior Sportspower series will hit Wodonga on Sunday for the second tournament of the season.
