The Wangaratta basketballer was recently crowned the inaugural winner of the North East Bushrangers' under-16 boys MVP award.
Coached by Yarrawonga's Brett Harvey, the team consisted of players from Wangaratta, Wodonga, Myrtleford, Yarrawonga, Benalla, Mansfield and Shepparton.
ALSO IN SPORT:
Paul has also started his first season in the Country Basketball League with the Wangaratta Warriors and made an instant impact.
The 15-year-old helped the side to an impressive win against Seymour in the season opener, which hasn't been done by a Wangaratta side in 15 years.
But Paul could have a big decision to make in the next couple of years.
He's also a promising footballer and experienced a breakout season after being selected in the region's under-16 team for the V-Line Cup, playing two games in Shepparton.
Paul was this week named among the 70 players in the Murray Bushrangers' under-16 pre-season squad.
