Walla's Tom Simmons said the seven-time consecutive Hume cricket champions are always a side to look out for.
"You can never underestimate Rand," Simmons said.
"They've won the last seven flags and are obviously there for a reason."
Walla have had a strong start to the season so far defeating Walbundrie and Brock-Burrum, with Osborne falling through their fingertips during their round two clash.

Simmons said despite the loss, the side is showing positive signs.
"We probably cost ourselves in our game against Osborne, but otherwise we're pretty happy," Simmons said.
"A lot of the boys have lifted this year and we've picked up a couple of fresh faces who are all playing their role."
The side has welcomed the inclusion of Kieran McCarthy, while youngster Nate Kohlhagen has made an impact after stepping up from second grade.
Joel Merkel has also stood up this season, proving handy with the bat for Walla.
"The last two years he's probably under achieved and this year he's come out of the blocks on fire," Simmons said.
Walla will host Rand on Saturday.
The other round four Hume cricket games for the weekend will see The Rock-Yerong Creek take on Walbundrie, Holbrook to face Culcairn at home, Osborne to clash with Henty and Lockhart to host Brocklesby/Burrumbuttock.
