With the Tigers fielding one of their strongest sides this season, the home team dismissed their opponents for 121 and responded in style.
Jarrod Millar (46), Nick Morris (35) and Mason Collins (23) reeled in the total off just 26 overs.
Collins said it was a strong all-round performance.
"I thought we bowled well and backed it up with the bat," he said.
"Our side has been changing every week through unavailability and hopefully we will soon be able to settle a side.
"It's a tight comp so today was a pretty important win.
"I was particularly happy with how we kept it tight in the field."
Holbrook skipper Hamish Mackinlay batted well to make 31 but when he was dismissed with the score on 73 the Brookers fell away badly.
Lockhart scored a surprise three-wicket win over Walla.
The Hoppers were bundled out for 80 with star Demon footballer Jordan Harrington the destroyer, taking 4-21 off eight overs.
Zac Burkinshaw and Connor Widdup grabbed two wickets each.
Two run outs didn"t help Walla's cause either.
Lockhart fell into trouble at 2-10 in the chase before Brad McMillan came to the rescue with 23 in a low-scoring match.
Hopper Joel Merkel took three wickets.
Brothers Joe and Ed Perryman hit half-centuries in Osborne's big win over Culcairn.
They made 76 and 74 respectively in a score of 6-210.
Culcairn skipper Vince Chaffey made 31 but his side was bundled out for 76.
Reigning premier Rand continued on its merry way, defeating Henty by five wickets.
Set 146 for victory, the Pigeons' depth came to the fore with Nathan Wenke (19), Brayden Ralston (21), Kyle Porta (23) and Brad I'Anson (46) batting well.
Swampie Daniel Terlich grabbed three wickets.
Earlier, Grant Gardiner had a rare failure when he was dismissed for two.
TRYC defeated Brock-Burrum by nine wickets.
The undermanned Saints managed just 67 with Jordan Schilg top-scoring with 25.
Skipper Todd Hannam (30 not out) and youngster Jack Driscoll (33) made easy work of the chase to post the side's third win of the season.
